A quick tip today on removing a discharged bankruptcy from your credit report.
If you have a discharged bankruptcy on your credit bureau file, it’s possible to get it removed by using a loophole in the way it’s reported on each of your credit reports.
It’s actually not possible for the credit bureau to verify the bankruptcy listing on your credit report because the bankruptcy courts don’t report the bankruptcy to the bureaus. So, when the credit bureau says the bankruptcy is verified and valid after a dispute by you of it’s accuracy you need to send a reply letter asking for the details of the verification such as this;
“Please provide the method of verification used and the name of the person at the source you contacted, the furnishers business name, address, phone number and date this verification has transacted to my address listed above.”
…the point being – that CANNOT BE PROVIDED since the courthouse doesn’t provide the bankruptcy listing (an illegal third party does by accessing public records) and the credit bureaus cannot provide their source – so the listing must be removed.
