You have a blank piece of paper, a drawing utensil and a limitless imagination. The interactive materials being developed nowadays tend to be quite limiting, despite the interaction they allow. There will be buttons to push, and levers to pull, but everything is set and prearranged. Drawing for kids is far more open.

Finally, drawing and the creativity that comes with it will result in more self-confidence. It shouldn’t be surprising that if children realize they are able to see something in their head and then put it down on paper in the same way, then they will be proud and will feel better about themselves. Even if they just learn to draw cartoons there is still a lot of pride and positive thinking that will go on, as people around them will be impressed.

Drawing lessons are not a magical solution for providing a child with the perfect set of skills needed to be successful later in life. They are, however, a way to help give a child a chance to develop more creativity, higher confidence, and an increased awareness of how to interact with different processes. If you learn art at a young age, then you will have a strong set of values instilled in yourself and will hopefully be a fuller and more experienced individual as you get older.
