Druid Guide – Developing Your Druid

November 27th, 2009 · No Comments · Arts and Entertainment

For gamers who would want to have a good idea on how they will be developing their druids according to their style of play, this Druid guide will be of good use.

Your Druid is a hybrid and only after level 41 will it form special attributes of its own depending on the tree that you would want to follow. First imagine that the Druid is good at everything although they do not do good at any one particular role. For example, druids could heal but not as well as priests do, they could fight although warriors are better at this and druids cast spells but remains below the ability of the mage. Being a jack of all trades, ruids lacks the flexibility and the power that are attributes of other classes in the game.

What is unique about Druids is that unlike the other characters whose functions are fixed, the Druids can shapeshift. The ability of the Druids to shapeshift, adopting to other forms with different functions and do those functions soundly makes the it an attractive character to have on your side. This ability makes them tanking like a Warrior and at a flick could be shifted and cast a spell well as do the Mage. Druids also have the ability and use the power of nature to support their friends or attack the enemy.

The issue is what will your Druid be?

Remember that only one race for every faction could be a Druid, but selecting a race is the easiest. All you do is decide whether the Druid will be involved in an alliance or will join a Horde. From this strategy will be based on the development of the Druid.

When already working at specialization, the there are three trees that you will be choosing from with its set of special abilities. The trees are for Restoration, Balance and Feral Combat.

When you construct your Druid in the skill tree of balance, your Druid will be built up (as the game progresses) to do and keep on improving his capability to become a caster damage dealer. When the Druid is built from the balance tree, the druid becomes very helpful for raiding parties. In moonkin form, the druid benefits the raiding team, allowing them plus 5% in critical strike rate. When you build your Druid from the feral combat tree, the Druid gains massive stamina that is very useful in tanking. When you decide your Druid to melee, it could be shapeshited and then perform great DPS. The Restoration tree, on the other hand, will equip your Druid the ability to improve healing for the whole raiding team to as much as 6%. In the World of Warcraft, the Restoration Druid ranks among the best healers.

To complete this Druid guide, it will be well to remember to setup the Druid with the appropriate attire. Generally, when the Druid is to be at risk of receiving damages, it should be fitted with the best leather armor, the rest depending on their involvement could take other armor choices.
