The ability to send free gifts to your Farmville friends is one of the nicest things about Farmville. It costs you nothing more than a couple seconds of your time and is a great method to strengthen your bond with neighbors. The recently improved “Send Gift” feature permits you to buy gifts at the Market, providing you a wide selection of possible gifts to send your friends or other accounts.

Free Gifts

During certain happenings, the offered free gifts occasionally change. Nevertheless, there are always a couple different items that will definitely be welcome. Gift animals, trees, or decorations that can’t be bought any other way. Always send a tree that yields a worthwhile harvest. Visit Farmville Trees to make sure that you’re giving something which is valuable to other people. During the Christmas event, make sure to send lots of presents so that your friends will have a wonderful time opening gifts on the 24th of December. You’ll get lots of presents if you give presents each day.

Gifts that Cost Cash or Coin

You can now purchase gifts at the Market to give to your friends. This is a relatively recent added feature. Garden Gnome Scarecrow Gazebo as well as a large variety of seasonal items are some examples. These can be bought with either Farm Cash or Coin. You can strengthen your friendship with your neighbors by sending them a big-ticket item that they cannot afford.

Not Spoiled, Gifted!’

You need to leave gifts in your Gifts Box until you accumulate a specific number of different gifts to obtain the “Not Spoiled, Gifted” achievement. You need to have 21 different gifts to get the blue ribbon. Use or sell your duplicate items. These identical items only take up farm space that is essential for you to win this ribbon!

Requests

If you have a great number of neighbors, you will generally get plenty of gifts. Not all of these gifts will be ones you hope for—I mean, just how many reindeer can a person really use?? Farmville has predicted this and allows you to sell extra or unwanted gifts right from your “Gifts” box. To avoid getting unwanted gifts, leave a note on your field (something like “I would really appreciate some horses or sheep”) and with a bit of luck people will look at it before gifting you. You can do the same for your friends.

Dual Accounts

Free gifts can be a good bonus if you are using two accounts to level up more quickly in Farmville. You can send things to each of your two farms. If one of your farms has more Cash than another, send yourself the items that your other account can’t afford. Use common sense and persistence to develop your two farms into gigantic plantations.
