Dangerous When Wet: Cute musical comedy, one of Esther’s best, in regards to a well to do family whose leading light tries to swim the English Channel. Williams cavorts underwater with the energized Tom and Jerry in one memorable scene. She later wedded leading-guy Lamas in real life. The King of Comedy: Pungent black comedy in reference to a show business hanger-on and total loser who cherishes America’s top Television comic talk show host and computes out a weird plan to get some air time. Kim:  Exciting action film based on Kipling classic set in 1880s India, with British cadets combatting disobedient locals. Cast includes Errol Flynn, Dean Stockwell, Paul Lukas, Thomas Gomez, and Cecil Kellaway. 113 minutes, 1950)

Alice in the Cities: After drifting haphazardly across America, disassociated reporter Vogler meets a lady and finds himself saddled with her nine year old baby girl while she mysteriously vanishes. Brilliant, often spellbinding film reflects on the consequence of American pop lifestyle on postwar Europeans. Cast includes Rudiger Vogler, Yella Rottlander, Lisa Kreuzer, and Chuck Berry. (110 minutes, 1974)

The General: One of Keaton’s best silent films, setting comedy contrary to real Civil Battle tale of stolen train, and Union spies. Not as fanciful as other Keaton films, although beautifully finished. Cast includes Buster Keaton, Marion Mack, Glen Cavender, Jim Farley, and Joseph Keaton.  (100 minutes, 1984)

Horror Express: Cracketjack terror film, ingeniously orchestrated and well performed by the genre’s megastars. Turn of the century chiller has a long iced up beast coming to life when being moved from Asia to the West. Lee and Cushing are adversary anthropologists aboard the train and Savalas is a power crazed Cossack officer. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Telly Savalas, Silvia Tortosa, and Jorge Rigaud.  (88 minutes, 1972)

Luv: Murray Schisgal three character hit play in regards to pseudo-eggheads was not designed for motion pictures anyway, however this rendition is genuinely an abomination. The cast tries.
