In the following article we will discuss the relatively new creative process known as manifesting. What is manifesting? And can we learn abundance? Manifesting is all about embracing the abundance that life affords each and every one of us. Abundance means getting everything that we possibly can out of life and not settling for things that will help us simply survive or things others expect out of us. While this process does include a number of set techniques, it is also highly adaptable and can be tailored to suit the needs of any individual.
If you are new to the concept of manifesting it may help you to think of it as a way of thinking and a way of living rather than a set of techniques to follow as most self-help manuals provide. Manifesting is about finding our way through the maze of these difficult times to take hold of our own lives and goals.
You can have abundance. Life seems overwhelming to many of us. Our dreams appear to be unobtainable. The hopes of our child lie like dust in the corner of our hearts. Too early in life, many people follow a path that is not their true desire and compromise too often in their life choices. Life is full of choices and sometimes we cannot have what we want. But persistence pays off in the end. All the great people of the world held on to their dreams until they came to fruition. Think of Thomas Edison. Had he not been obsessed with his search for light, we might still be living in the dark.
It is necessary to work hard, pay the bills and live by society’s rules. But we have let the complications of a technological world cause us to become fragmented and overwhelmed. We live in a society that has become more and more specialized. We are expected to focus harder on the narrower aspects of our world. Our dreams are easily lost in this environment.
How can we understand abundance thinking?
One of the reasons why modern life is so confusing is because so many of us are focusing on what we need to do rather than what we truly want to do. And if we are not living the life that we desire, we become lost in a cloud of confusion and chaos. We start surviving rather than truly living. Manifestation is a simple tool that may help us extricate ourselves from this confusion.
It may sound simple, but manifestation can help us clarify things; and if there was ever a need for clarification it is in modern times. What exactly is there not to be confused about nowadays? We go to the supermarket and are greeted by a hundred different kinds of cereals. We go to college and are asked to choose between a thousand different majors. We emerge with a degree and are forced to choose between a hundred thousand jobs, professions or careers.
For these reasons, many Americans fail to ask themselves these questions to their own future detriment. Rather, they decide to set their sights on making as much money as they possibly can and assume that the rest will simply take care of itself. Unfortunately, much later in life, these people come to realize that money did not solve all their problems and that it has, in fact, failed to satisfy or fulfill them. Oftentimes, money serves only to satisfy the needs of those around us and leaves the money makers feeling empty and wanting more.
As with most things in life, confidence and positive thinking are a big part of manifesting your goals. It is not enough to simply know what you want you must also truly believe that you can achieve these goals. Whether we are talking about happiness in your personal or professional life, it is essential that you believe that these things are possible. For this reason, we must eliminate negative thinking. Like the song says we must ‘accentuate the positiveeliminate the negative.’ Because the simple truth is that the more we focus on our failures and defeats the harder it will be to envision our dreams and reach our full potential.
In the final analysis, the manifesting process is simple.
Manifesting is an easy process.
*Look at both your personal and professional life. Make up your mind about what it is you want.
*Think positively and focus only on your successes
*Once you have decided what it is you want, you must act on your goals. You must take the risks necessary to see your dream come true.
Manifesting contains one simple truth: you do not need to be satisfied with what is, because when you believe there is more, you will find that there is more. Thomas Edison once said, Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show you a failure’. He recognized that to fulfill our dreams we had to work hard and stay focused on our objective. He understood that there would always be ups and downs, joy and pain, success and failure, but in the end it was about continuing forward, toward our dreams and aspirations.
